Booking Information

When you have selected a property from our website, simply contact us either by telephone on 01253 713695, or by email at golf@frankwyles.com, or through our contact form.

When you are ready to book one of our properties, we will send you a booking form.

Letting period

The standard letting period is from mid-day Saturday 14th July until mid-day Monday 23rd July 2012. In certain circumstances and with the mutual agreement of both homeowner and tenant the term stated in the letting agreement may be extended.

The Rental

Includes electricity, gas or oil consumed during the period of the rental. It also includes the telephone rental, local council tax and insurance of the property. However, you will be required to pay for any telephone calls made during your stay, and will be sent an itemised bill shortly after your stay.

Payment

When you book you must pay a refundable security deposit which is the equivalent to 25% of the total rent (25%)
You must then pay the full rental amount to our offices. No later than 20th April, 2012 (100%)

Total payable before 20th April, 2012 (125%)

If you book after 20th April 2012, you will be required to pay the full refundable security deposit/ rental amount (125% of the rent) when you make your booking.

Methods of payment will be stated on the booking form.

Cancellation

If you cancel the letting agreement before 20th April 2012, you will forfeit the 25% security deposit. This will then be payable to the owner, less Frank Wyles & Co’s fees, subject to VAT.

If you cancel after 20th April 2012 and full payment has been received, then you will only have the security deposit returned. The rent is forfeited in full and will be paid to the property owner, less our fees. However, in certain circumstances, should the property be re-let, we will return the rental less our standard 10% to the tenant.

Terms and Conditions of Booking

Frank Wyles & Co (the "Agent") acts as booking agent on behalf of the homeowner. Once the rental confirmation is issued, the contract is between you, and the owner of the property.

The booking form must be sent by post fax or email with a refundable deposit of 25% of the rental. Upon acceptance of the booking, the full amount of the rental must be paid on or before 20th April 2012. If booking after this date, the full amount of the rental plus the 25% refundable deposit must be paid at the time of the booking. Any applicable VAT is included.

The letting shall be from mid-day on 14th July 2012 to mid-day on 23rd July 2012.

If the full amount of the rental is not paid by the due date, the Agent on behalf of the Owner shall be entitled to cancel the reservation and the renter will forfeit the deposit.

If the renter wishes to cancel the reservation before 20th April 2012, he/she will forfeit the 25% deposit. If the property is relet for the period reserved a refund will be be made, less the administration fees of Frank Wyles & Co.

You, the renter must agree to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it in the same condition as at the commencement of the rental period. In addition you will compensate the Owner for damage or breakages incurred or excess cleaning required. You will remove ALL rubbish and food brought into the property.

If the renter considers he/she has cause for complaint, the matter must be taken up immediately with the Owner/Keyholder or Agent of the property. Under no circumstances will the Agent accept claims for compensation lodged after departure as it is no longer possible to investigate the complaint in order to take corrective action.

Except by prior arrangement no more than the stated number of persons may occupy the property and the Owner/Keyholder has the right to refuse to admit more than the number of persons shown on the booking confirmation. Some Owners do not allow small children and pets and these conditions must be strictly adhered to.
Bed linen and towels will be provided. Electricity gas or oil consumed is included in the rental as is the telephone rental, local council tax and insurance on the property. All telephone calls must be met by the renter.

The Owner of the property or his/her representative shall be allowed any reasonable access to the property during the period of occupation, by appointment, and only with prior notice given to the renter, except in case of emergency.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the details provided on the website,, the Owner and the Agent shall not be held responsible for any mistakes or changes beyond their control.

The Agent gives no warranty as to the state and/or condition of the property or any changes made by the Owner without informing the Agent. Nor shall the Agent be liable for any act or neglect or default on the part of the Owner or for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether to persons or to property which the holidaymaker or any member of his party or any other person may suffer or sustain arising out of or in respect of the reservation or otherwise howsoever caused.

The Agent cannot accept liability for happenings outside its reasonable control, including without limitation breakdown of domestic appliances, plumbing, wiring, temporary invasion of pests, annoyance through local flora and fauna, damage resulting from exceptional weather conditions or the owner’s negligence resulting in loss, injury or accident.

The Agent is not liable for any claim for compensation from the renter in respect of any booking not honoured by the owner or deterioration in the condition of the property as advertised by the Agent in good faith. Any claim MUST be directed to the owner.
